Gallery - A Campbell Town Show for the ages

Campbell Town was the place to be last Friday and Saturday as it hosted its much-loved 186th show.
From the standing-room only AWI Fashion Parade, Sports Shear action and wood chopping to the equestrian events, Smithfields and yard dogs there was something for everyone.
The Dashund Dash was an annual highlight, won this year by the amazing Minti, owned by Penny and Dean Mansbridge, and the dog jumping organised by Tamar Rural Youth attracted plenty of spectators.
Bean, owned by Jacinta, took out the small dog section, Millie, owned by Abi Brooks won the medium dog section and Titan, owned by Jay, winning was winning large dog.
The Exhibition Hall was brimming with local talent on display, covering art, eggs, floral displays, crafts and much more.
Campbell Town Show Committee president Annie Thompson said that gate numbers were up on last year and that it was “a really great couple of days”.
“The weather was beautiful and the community really gave it plenty of support by either getting involved or attending – we couldn’t have asked for a better event.”
