Red Bull Hardline Tasmania will take place in February

The final line-up of riders competing in the Red Bull Hardline Tasmania mountain bike race at Maydena on February 7 and 8 has been unveiled.

World-class riders have been handpicked to compete, including Mille Johnset from Norway, Brazil’s Roger Vieira, and Aussie local Ryan Gilchrist.

Seven skilled Australians are among the 25 riders representing 11 countries: Australia, the USA, the UK, Canada, and France. New Zealand, Scotland, Ireland, South Africa, Norway, and Brazil.

Every competitor at Red Bull Hardline Tasmania will be tested on the course, built by Dan Atherton, which for 2026 features a new start section that complements tricky, fast technical downhill features with huge freeride-style jumps.

The main race is complemented by a range of activities for all fans, including live podcasts featuring international guests, photo exhibitions, and competitions for mountain bikers.

For anyone interested in reliving some of the best action from past Red Bull Hardline events, they can join Red Bull Hardline "Through the Lens" with mountain bike photographers Graeme Murray and Sven Martin, moderated by Chris Hall, all presented by major partner Canon Australia.

Senior General Manager-Consumer Sales & Marketing, Canon Oceana's Aaron Berthelot said “events like Red Bull Hardline are driven by human motivation, the commitment to take risks, push limits and follow something through, no matter how challenging”.

Red Bull Hardline Tasmania will be available to stream live and free on Red Bull TV and the Red Bull Bike YouTube channel.
