Karen Robinson is stepping down as CEO of Rural Youth Tasmania after 11 years in the role.

Ms Robinson will be leaving the organisation at the end of June.

She said being in the role had been incredibly rewarding.

“It’s been an honour and a privilege to lead this organisation, and I am immensely proud of what has been achieved,” Ms Robinson said.

“Rural Youth Tasmania is a truly special organisation, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to its growth and success.”

Recruitment firm Chapman Executive will soon commence the recruitment process for the next CEO.

“This process is expected to take several months,” Ms Robinson said.

“Once an appointment has been made, there will be a smooth transition process, which will allow for introductions and updates, ensuring minimal disruption for all.

“In the meantime, it’s business as usual and full steam ahead.”
