TasPorts says there is no disruption to fuel supply on King Island, with regular weekly shipping movements maintaining normal stock levels.

The organisation’s on-island stores have several weeks of both unleaded and diesel fuel available.

TasPorts also maintains an Incident Management Plan to manage supply continuity if conditions change.

TasPorts Interim Chief Executive Officer Allan Gray said these levels provide confidence that supply will continue to meet the needs of the community, industry, and essential services.

“We understand how critical fuel is to the island, and we plan for this accordingly,” Mr Gray said.

“Our focus is on maintaining consistent, reliable supply, and we have the systems in place to support continuity.”
