HAMILTON Show was the venue for Campdrafting Tasmania’s latest competition with riders travelling from across the state to add to the show atmosphere and entertainment.

The Cattle Working Challenge was won by Elsie Richards and Dixie from Westbury and the Novice class went to Gemma King, also from Westbury, who finished on 70 points ahead of Campbell Town rider Will Van Gemert on 60.

Winner of the Open Draft was Georgie Burbury and Wilmor Cowboy Up from Campbell Town. They scored an excellent 87 to narrowly defeat Tom Steele and Rosebrook Resolute from Lemont on 85.

The Junior and Juvenile riders had a busy morning in the show jumping, showing and station horse rings before fronting up for their runs – demonstrating the fitness and versatility of their mounts.
