King Island Council GM resigns

The King Island Council has announced that Ms Kate Mauric has resigned from her role as General Manager. Ms Mauric's resignation took effect from today.
Ms Mauric has been a key part of the Council, leading important projects, supporting the King Island community, and ensuring essential services were delivered.
Mayor Marcus Blackie shared his appreciation, saying: "On behalf of the King Island Council and the community, I want to thank Ms Mauric for her service and leadership of Council and her contribution to the King Island community. We wish her and her family all the best in her future endeavours."
Kate also reflected on her time with the Council, saying: "It has been an honour to serve as General Manager of King Island Council. I am proud of what we have achieved together as a team and as a community. I am confident that the Council will continue to thrive and build on the progress we have made."
The Council will soon begin the recruitment for a new General Manager. In the meantime, Dr Catherine Dale will continue as Acting General Manager to ensure everything continues to run smoothly.
