Cassie O'Connor (Green member) has claimed 41 greyhounds were euthanised (I think in the past year).The vast majority of these relate to old age related health conditions. At the Joint Standing Committee on the ban on Wednesday Clare Robbins from the Hobart Greyhound Racing Club, told O’Connor 4 of those were her own dogs (all elderly with significant health issues -one in particular suffering horrifying fits). The Greens are spreading false and misleading information to promote their radical animal extremist views.
