Anonymous Re your incorrect statement on vets checks on greyhounds prior to kenneling on race day. They are only quick visual checks Fleas any standout issues. The examinations I am referring to after every 3 race starts take 30 to 40 minutes. These are done by experience vets muscleman who have the knowledge of the type of injuries incurred by the racing greyhound. It takes very good palpation skills to detect and find early stages and grades of injuries most grade 1/2 injuries can be resolved over 7 days. DR Jim Gannon's Tape explains the full description of common injuries and treatments.
