Multiple bushfires burning across the south of Tasmania

The Tasmania Fire Service (TFS) has issued multiple warnings as bushfires burn across the south of the state.

As of 3.30pm on Thursday, the TFS urged Levendale residents and those at Glenlusk bordered by Brinkmans Road, Faulkners Road and Molesworth Road to evacuate immediately – with blazes for those areas having been classed as uncontrollable.

Prepare to leave alerts have also been issued for Dolphin Sands, Rhyndaston and Glenlusk to the south of Molesworth Road.
