Penalising law abiding firearm owners with additional restrictions and caps for events caused by extremists and government agency failures is morrally wrong. It serves no purpose except to persecute a highly regulated and compliant section of society while completely ignoring the root causes and does nothing to prevent future acts of violence by extremists and criminals.
