This is not much money to do the basics.
1. The entry road and junction to the park is very bad condition. (This is a NPW road not DVC)
2. The one lane wooden bridge needs to be a two lane concrete bridge.
3. The overflow car park is on a grassed area this again needs proper solid (hot mix) upgrade with line markings.
4. The coach and bus parking is not good enough.
5. The visitor centre needs more toilets not only for the public but cafe staff as well.
6. The building needs an electrical upgrade and roofing runoff (stormwater).
7. Mt Dobson road needs more upgrades.
So if you take all this into the $7.8 million would be sucked up needing more to complete. The mayor comments: I think she needs to go to specsavers if she has traveled on the road lol.
