Landfall Angus has completed its autumn bull sale today with one of its biggest ever crowds in attendance and strong bidding on 210 lots.

All but one bull sold with an average price of $12,602.

The top price paid was for Lot 6 which sold to Calview Pastoral in Laceby, Victoria for $44,000.

Calview Pastoral Pty Ltd is owned and operated by the Callus family, who have managed the business for more than 35 years.

Several other bulls fetched around $40,000 with strong interest coming from Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria as well as locally.

Nutrien livestock agent Cooper Lamprey said that the sale went extremely well with a good average price for bulls that presented beautifully.

“Everyone is looking for something a bit different and chasing different qualities for their herd and the consistent strong turnout at Landfall is because they can usually find what they’re looking for,” Mr Lamprey said.
