The 10 finalists for the 2025 Woolworths Tasmanian Young Farmer of the Year Competition have been announced.

Jordan Burr, Patrick Correy, Rory Eaton, Zac Leonard, Will Lyon, Andrew Marshall

Sarah O’Grady, Chelsea Rayner, Charlton Skirving and Ashton Willey all earned their spot for the top prize following a series of run-off events at Quercus Park on July 26.

The prize pool for the competition is valued at $50,000, with current Agfest chairperson Dylan Bellchambers having won the award last year.

Rural Youth Tasmania state president Amber Bramich said she was proud of the talent and passion shown by this year’s finalists.

“The 2025 Woolworths Tasmanian Young Farmer of the Year Competition is not just a contest—it’s a celebration of the innovation, resilience, and community spirit that young farmers bring to our industry,” Ms Bramich said.

“We’re expecting a very close competition, and we wish all the finalists the very best of luck.”

The state final will take place on August 23 at Quercus Park.
