GALLERY - 2026 Tasmanian Dairy Awards

The Tasmanian Dairy Awards were held at the Devonport Paranaple Centre last Thursday evening to recognise some of the best in the milking business and offer an opportunity to connect with industry representatives and stakeholders off the farm.

Many were vying for the prestigious ANZ Dairy Business of the Year Award, conducted by the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture (TIA) as part of the Dairy Farm Monitor Project, which is funded by Dairy Australia and TIA. 

About 30 farm businesses participate in the program to have their physical and financial performances benchmarked, with Northview Estate, owned and managed by brothers Geoff and Stan Cox at Ringarooma, taking the top prize. 

The 2026 Lactalis-Mainland Dairy Share Dairy Farmer of the Year Award was also awarded to Ryan and Brighid Langley, who are share farming for Circular Head Farms on the Redpa Blue property at Redpa.
